Met the artist
Mia Li is a London-based artist and illustrator working across picture book and fairy-tale illustration, botanical and still-life painting, and portraiture. With a vintage sensibility and delicate attention to detail, she combines traditional media and digital tools to create harmonious, poetic, and highly aesthetic images inspired by nature, memory, and the works of old masters.
Education
Mia previously studied Economics and Management at King’s College London, before realising that her deeper passion lay in art. Alongside her academic studies, she continued to practise independently, visiting galleries and learning through books, films, and visual culture. This year, she is completing her first Master’s degree in art at Goldsmiths, University of London, where she hopes to further develop her skills and fully pursue her path as an artist.
